These sweet Quatrefoil Caviar silver studs are part of a range that I have named ‘Caviar’ as the silver pearls gleam like juicy caviar grains.
These particular studs are in the shape of a four-leaf clover or ‘quatrefoil’ , which stands for ‘Four Leaves’ in Latin. It is a symbol of good luck, good fortune and prosperity.
The concept behind Caviar is to create a new beautiful and covetable piece of jewellery from the dust and off-cuts of silver that I carefully collect from any piece that I make.
Think ‘rags to riches’, or ‘Cinderella’. It is like a little bit of magic that you carry with you. You can find out more about the making of Caviar here.
Note that each piece is freeform so completely unique. The silver pearls are never perfectly round or smooth which makes it all the more charming.
