Commission a bespoke piece of jewellery
Bespoke Jewellery: How to Work With Me
Welcome to my bespoke jewellery service, where I work closely with you to create a truly personal and unique piece of jewellery. Whether you are looking to redesign a treasured heirloom or commission something entirely new, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
The Process
I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation, either in person or online, where we can discuss your ideas, inspirations, and requirements. During this session, I will walk you through the design process, answer any questions you may have, and share examples of past commissions to give you a feel for my work.
Once you decide to proceed, I will start the design phase, creating up to four initial designs based on our conversation. From there, you can choose your favourite, and I will refine it with up to two rounds of revisions to ensure it is exactly what you envision. If more designs or revisions are needed, I am happy to provide these at an additional cost.
Commitment & Cost
Designing bespoke jewellery is a collaborative process that takes time, and I value your trust and investment. To begin, I charge a flat design fee of £250, which includes the initial designs and revisions. This fee is deducted from the final price if you choose to go ahead with the commission. Once we have finalised the design, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before I begin crafting your piece.
The design phase typically lasts 2 to 4 weeks, and the creation of your jewellery takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. I will keep you updated throughout, so you will always know what to expect.
Important Terms
- Bespoke designs cannot be returned or refunded, as each piece is handmade and tailored to your specifications.
- If you decide not to proceed after the design phase, the flat design fee is non-refundable.
- Your jewellery will reflect the final approved design, so it is important we get it just right during this phase!
