Is it possible to clean my item of Essemgé jewellery at home?

Do you have a size guide?
Our sizes are as follows:
Rings:
All our rings are made to order. To have it made to your exact fit, simply add a note in the comments box at checkout with the ring size that you would like.
Alternatively, send us a message via email at contact@essemge.com with the required size.
Bracelets:
Small – 57mm inner diameter
Medium – 61mm inner diameter
Large – 64mm inner diameter
Necklaces:
The length is indicated in the product description.
For any other size requirements, please get in touch via email at contact@essemge.com.
Note that extra large sizes may incur an additional charge to cover the cost of the extra materials required (incl. precious metal).
How do I know my ring size?
If you don’t know your ring size, simply follow our step by step guide below.
Before you start, you will need some paper cut into a thin (max 1cm wide) strip, cello tape, a marker and a ruler.
Take the strip of paper and wrap it around your finger. Tape the paper ring closed. It needs to be tight enough so that when you shake vigorously your hand a couple of times it doesn’t slip and come off.
Then with a pen mark where the 2 ends overlap. Unwrap and measure precisely (in mm) the distance between the 2 points you have just marked. That is the ring size that you need to put in the comments box at checkout when placing your order.
How long will my order take to arrive?
All our items are made to order in line with our ‘slow jewellery’ ethos. Allow therefore approx. 2 weeks waiting time. Any longer, and we will inform you.
Any urgent request may exceptionally be accommodated but please check before placing your order. Send us an email at contact@essemge.com.
Orders to the UK are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked. Expect an additional 1-2 working days.
International orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked, which takes an additional 5-7 working days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we currently ship our designs to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Flat rate shipping costs are as follows:
- UK – £10.00
- Europe – £20.00
- USA & Canada – £20.00
- Australia & New Zealand – £20.00
If you are outside these areas and would like to place an order, please get in touch via email at contact@essemge.com regarding possible shipping as we may be able to accommodate.

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently only accept payments through PayPal on the website.
NEW – We are now offering PayPal Later which allows you to buy now and pay later, in 3 interest free instalments.
You can also purchase items in person at events (please check our News page), stockists and at the studio which is a by-appointment only facility. Get in touch via email at contact@essemge.com to arrange your visit.
Can I return my order if I don’t like it or change my mind?
Yes, but the item must be in its original packaging in an unworn condition and must be returned within 14 days of receipt in order to be eligible for a refund.
Unfortunately I cannot refund bespoke items of jewellery except in exceptional circumstances – please see the Terms and Conditions for more information.
My design has become damaged, do you offer repairs?
Yes, however repairs will be considered on a case by case basis.
If you have placed the piece under tough conditions beyond every day use, or if it is general wear and tear, then the item is not eligible for repair.
