For SÉVIGNÉ, I wanted to capture the charm of the classic French bow in a smaller, more architectural form, creating earrings that are expressive without being elaborate.
I named them after Madame de Sévigné, whose letters brought seventeenth-century French society to life through her intelligence, humour and remarkable powers of observation.
That combination of refinement and personality feels particularly appropriate for these little bows.
Each pair is handcrafted in sterling silver, with clean lines and a sculptural yet gentle shape that gives this traditional motif a contemporary character.
