Silver Semainier Stud Earrings
What
This delightful pair of Silver Semainier Stud Earrings is part of the Scheherazade range .
I have long been fascinated by the ‘orientalism’ of the 19th century, and the ‘visions of the East by artists of the West’ as Christie’s defines it.
The Scheherazade capsule collection is my take on it, with pieces of jewellery that are relevant to today’s lifestyles but still convey the charm of the Orient wih its fascinating exoticism, opulence and rituals steeped in time.
Available in solid precious metals, the range focuses on the traditional ‘Semainier’ design and the symbolic number ‘7’.
‘Semainier’ is the French word for ‘week’, and all the pieces are made of 7 individual rings tied together with a permanent ribbon link like the 7 days of the week.
Who for
Whether you like ancient traditions, look for a piece of jewellery with strong symbolism or simply love beautiful adornments that are slightly unusual, then this pair of earrings is for you!
Did you know that the number ‘7’ is considered the luckiest number in most religions and cultures? It is also the spiriual symbol of inner life.
Consider it as your new talisman!
Highly desirable, they are a great gift at any age.
How to wear it
Oozing style, they certainly will get you noticed and admired.
Get Zoom-ready , they are the perfect size to make you stand out on the Zoom grid when in video meetings for work or social gatherings.
Super stylish and playful, they have a fabulous movement as each of the rings dangles gently and plays with the light, showing the curves and pearl texture most beautifully.

Care
Dos
As with any piece of jewellery, when you don’t wear it, keep it in a box or pouch, ideally separate from your other jewellery to avoid scratches.
Safe to clean at home yourself – simply wash it with lukewarm water and mild soap. Leave to soak a couple of minutes. Do not scrub or rub. The dirt will fall off at the bottom of the container. Rinse under clear lukewarn water. Pat dry with a soft clean cloth and leave to dry completely before wearing again, or storing.
Donts
Do not scrub or rub as this will affect the surface.
Avoid putting makeup and other beauty products after putting your jewellery on, as residues will build up in the little recesses, making it more difficult to clean.
