Grid Pendant and Pearl Necklace
This Grid Pendant and Pearl Necklace is part of the Integrity collection.
I took inspiration from the traditional 18th and 19th century Normand folk jewellery from my home region and brought it fast forward into the 21th century with a streamlined geometric look.
Highly decorative, this grid pattern has been extensively explored in art throughout History. Its square shape represents honesty, solidity and stability. Here it has been tilted , with lines extending outside the canvas, introducing a more intuitive and spiritual dimension to the piece. I have also added extra luxury with pearls and stones, thus softening the sharp lines of the grid matrix.
The contrast of materials is a representation of our urban environments, where beauty and romance can be found in the most unlikely places and despite uncompromising conditions.
For those who like minimalist jewellery, that has soul and meaning.
Makes the most beautiful gift. Think mother’s day, mother in law, best friend or even a present to someone leaving the office.
It can also be a gorgeous alternative to traditional bridal jewellery.
The ‘Grid‘ range offers a very modern, almost abstract, interpretation of an ancient symbol to make each woman feel special.
How to wear it
Timeless and elegant. Ideal for special occasions.
It has the right length and weight to hold in place and suit most body shapes.
Wear it on its own or layered with shorter necklaces for a different look.
Why not pair it with the matching Grid and Pearl Dangle Earrings for a complete look.
Made of solid sterling silver, soft water pearls and a selection of natural semi-precious.
The pearls and stones are all natural. Please allow therefore for some colour variations from the pictures.
c.68cm long necklace including with a 7.5cm x 3cm pendant
Please handle your jewellery with care. In particular don’t drop it on a hard surface or you might damage the semi-precious stones.
Sterling silver will oxidise over time. Gently rub the silver pendant and chain with an anti-tarnish silver cloth to bring their shine back.
Do not use any harsh chemicals on the pearls or stones or they will lose their lustre permanently. You can find more cleaning and caring instructions for pearls in our dedicated blog post here.
