Urban Grids, structure, balance, and modern heritage
What
Urban Grids takes its inspiration from traditional 18th and 19th century Norman folk jewellery, pieces that were once both precious and deeply symbolic.
Rather than reproducing these historic designs, I reinterpret them.
I strip them back, refine their lines, and bring them forward into a more contemporary, geometric language.
At the heart of this work is the cross form, an ancient symbol of harmony and balance.
A quiet reminder that life is not linear, but shaped by dualities: strength and softness, movement and stillness, certainty and change.
Here, that symbolism becomes subtle. Almost abstract.
Felt rather than declared.
Who is the range for
For women who are drawn to simplicity but never at the expense of meaning.
Women who appreciate jewellery that feels intentional, composed, and quietly distinctive. Minimal in appearance, yet rich in story.
This is not decorative jewellery. It is jewellery with presence.
How to wear it
Urban Grids pieces are designed to become part of your everyday rhythm.
- Worn alone, they bring clarity and structure
- Paired together, they create a refined, cohesive set
- Layered with softer pieces, they introduce contrast and balance
