I have used black silicone rubber to create a very contemporary take on the classic draping style.

The fastening is a tactile shiny chunky toggle that acts as a focal point and balances the otherwise slightly austere look of the bracelet.

Note that I have made that toggle fastening entirely by hand and riveted it so that you get extra strength and durability.
