Originally inspired by the spring coil shape.

With the Rebellion collection, I have gone back to the essence of what makes the spring coil visually iconic and attractive, ie its texture, lines and curves. The result is very Art-Deco / mid-century modern : pure, clean and sculptural lines.

I have named the collection ‘Rebellion’ after the linear / stripe pattern. Stripes were originally worn by outcasts before gradually becoming the symbol of forward thinking, freedom and change. The pattern has been a fashion staple since the 1920s, its graphic lines fitted the Art Deco aesthetic and Coco Chanel further contributed to its popularity.

Handmade to order using sustainably sourced solid sterling silver 925 in a choice of polished or oxidised finish.

Silver provides a steadying influence. It performs a balancing act by drawing negativity from the body while transferring the positive energies of other minerals.

The dark version has been oxidised to a charcoal grey. The colour will gradually rub off with as you wear it and highlights will appear on the higher details of the bangle while the deeper recesses will remain dark, creating a beautiful unique patina. It is completely safe to wear on your skin, clothes etc. However please note that each item is made by hand and oxidation cannot give 100% identical results each time, which will add charm and character to your piece.
